  2. Description • What they wear depends on their music style. • They use ear buds, microphones, sound boards, and speakers, and amps. • They can work in music studios, restaurants, and around the world depending on what type of gig they have.

  3. Education/Training • They need a bachelor’s degree in music theory or music performance. • The training on the job is extensive and prolonged.

  4. Job Outlook(job growth) This job is expected to by10% from 2010 to 2020. There will be 17,900 working as a singer or a musician in 2020.

  5. Attributes What you need is discipline, musical talent, people skills, perseverance, and physical stamina.

  6. Duties You have to sing or play instruments for live audiences and in recording studios. To get the job you have to practice and audition. If you get the job, you have to rehearse a lot. You also have to find a location and book yourself a gig. You also have to get comfortable with traveling. And most of the time, singers promote their careers by maintaining their reputation and giving autographs.
