  2. Introduction • One of the basic processes in everyday life is to search, evaluate and purchase a product. • At home you can use community knowledge from the internet to help you in your choice. • But, on-site you can touch/smell/feel the product.

  7. Navigation • Customized Dijkstra shortest-path for indoor navigation • Outputs map(s) and text • Mapping application • Written in C# • Map is saved as a single, interoperable XML file

Future work • The system has been accepted to be presented at the Mobile Interaction with the Real World Workshop (MIRW 2009) in the MobileHCI 2009 conference, Bonn, Sept 2009. • Improve integration with the library allowing books to be checked-out • Implement electromagnetic tag systems for navigation and check out • Explore new scenarios where the technology might be applicable (e.g. supermarkets and other shops)
