  2. Astronomy • Astronomy is a Greek word. • Astronomy is basically the study of EVERYTHING in the UNIVERSE! • It is very different from Astrology. • Galileo Galilei is the Italian astronomer who studied the Planets and ETC…

  3. Astrology • Astrology is basically the study of STARS/Celestial Bodies. • It`s about the constellations and the constellations make the horoscopes. • With the horoscopes it can tell someone's personality, human affairs, what their luck number is or what there supposed to look like ETC.

  4. Stars/Celestial • Star is a big luminous ball of plasma that is all held together by gravity. • Celestial refers to sky objects, bodies.

  8. Why is Astrology considered unscientific? • Its considered unscientific because Astrology is basically describing humans and their reactions. • Astrology doesn’t deal with science such as space.

  9. The Many Places where Astrology is applied to life. (Past and Present) • Do you remember in the bible when the three wise men were looking for Jesus they followed a star. And the three Wise Men were Astrologers, so after following the star they found Jesus. (Past)

  10. - In our world today Astrology is popular in a form of Entertainment. Horoscopes based on sun signs are published into the most popular newspapers & magazines across the United States. Horoscope books and astrological calendars can be bought in most market lanes. You can also find the So-called “Astrologers” that charge $1.99 per minute to read your astrological reading over the phone. (Present)

  11. India and China has a great impact on Astrology. They practice astrological readings in their daily lives. (Past and Present) • Right now fishermen could be out fishing. To find their destination they rely on the Northern Star. (Past and Present)
