Gantt

Project Gantts • Sometimes called: • Bar Chart showing the Project Schedule • Time Line • Most visible component of the Project Plan • Highly effective when used with a “Phase-Gate” methodology (Concept, Development, Production, etc.) • Show activity start & end dates as well as expected duration • Usually does NOT show dependencies (PERT chart does) • Frequently used in management presentation
