  4. Departure from MMS5:45 AM Students will come to the band room for processing and a boarding pass All meds must be checked in Luggage checked Touring Bus leaves at 6:30 AM

  5. Mackinac Crossing Lunch Break 11 AM- 12:30 PM Lunch with a buddy Shopping with a friend

  6. Historic Mill Creek Connecting with History 1-2 PM We will visit an 18th century water-powered sawmill and dam

  7. Historic Mill Creek Connecting with History part 2 2-3:30 PM Enjoy the ADVENTURE TOUR including the Eagle’s Flight Zip Line and Nature Trail Climbing Wall

  8. Shepler’s Dock Ferry Ride 4-5 PM Our luggage and equipment will be moved for us.

  9. The Lake View Inn Hotel Check-in 5 PM Students will have an opportunity to change before dinner

  10. Dinner at--------------- Buffet Dinner 5:45-6:45 PM Tuscan inspired dining room, or outside on our elevated, covered deck on Main Street. Signature dishes are authentic Italian American cuisine and include Seafood, Pastas and Pizza.

  11. Ryba’s Bike Rental Tour de Mackinac 6:45-7:45 PM We will bike the outer rim of this beautiful island.

  12. Social Hour Swim or Play 8-9:30 PM All hands on the pool deck to either swim, enjoy the sauna and Jacuzzi, OR socialize, and play board games/card games

  13. The Lake View Hotel ZZZ…ZZZ... Lights out at 10:30 PM Chaperones do last room check at 10:30 PM Private Night Time Hotel Security Provided Report given to Directors in the morning

  14. Breakfast at the Goodfellow Deluxe Continental Breakfast 8:00 – 9:15 AM eggs, sausage, bacon French toast, pancakes, or biscuits fruit, pastries juice, coffee, and tea

  15. ETI Music Clinic In Pursuit of Excellence 9:30-11:30 AM We will perform for a clinician in the Ballroom of the Lakeview Inn

  16. Lunch at the Grand Hotel Grand Luncheon Buffet 12-1:30 PM 60 feet of food garden-fresh salads slow-roasted meats, seafood 20 plus varieties of fresh-baked pastries

  17. Mackinac Carriage Tour Co. Carriage Tour 1:30-3:15 PM The carriage will pick us up take us into the interior of the island stopping at various points of interest, including Arch Rock

  18. Explore Market Street Shop, Relax, Until 4:30 PM Fudge Shops Novelties Free Time

  19. Shepler’s Dock Heading Home 5 PM Return home Bus will meet us at the dock we will load our luggage and head home.

  20. Dinner Mackinaw City Pancake Chef 5:45 PM Dinner Buffet with many homemade items

  21. Arrive at MMS Home Sweet Home 11:30 PM I will start a phone tree if we have a significant variance in arrival time Bus will pull in front of the building by the band room door

  22. Rooming and Accommodations

  23. Rooming Students will sign up with three other students of the same gender Chaperones are two to a room. Hotel Rooms will be assigned by Tour Company.

  24. Med Disbursement Mason School Board mandates all medicines except epi-pens and inhalers be carried by and distributed by a designated chaperone A med collection table will be at Check In Please have all med forms current

  25. Accommodations Please let us know if we will need to make accommodations due to health related issues Night time hotel security 24 hour emergency service

  26. Chaperones • Mason Public Schools ask for every chaperon to have a picture id on file with the Human Resource Office at Central Office.

  29. Paper work and Permission Slips • I will send home all emergency medical forms and permission slips when we get closer to our date. • Every traveler must have a copy of their medical card for our emergency book
