    1. Ft. Riley Construction Integration Services Program Management Plan Fort Riley, KS

    2. Program Background Fort Riley is experiencing a significant population growth and with it a need for new facilities. This increase is driven by three Army initiatives. The 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC), the Integrated Global Posturing and Base Stationing (IGPBS) and the Grow the Army (GTA) initiatives will bring Soldiers and family members to the Installation. The majority of this population increase is due to the 1st Infantry Division being re-stationed from Germany and the re-creation of 1st Infantry Brigade Combat Teams (IBCT). The projects associated with this program will provide essential living and working and community facilities to support this and several other BRAC and IGPBS re-stationing actions. To ensure a smooth transition for Soldiers, a Construction Integration Services (CIS) Program was established.

    3. Project Scope Construction Integration Services Program Delivery Team will take the lead on all MCA and BRAC projects at Fort Riley for all work required after construction to make new facilities Construction Integrated for Troop Occupation. The specific responsibilities include: Development of furniture, fixture and equipment lists for each building Coordination of all contractors, vendors and stakeholders for delivery, installation and acceptance by the installation of the above items Coordination of communication and data service installation within each building Providing FF&E milestones to the Master Schedule team and updating as required and manage the team efforts to that schedule Producing all RFQ forms required by HNC for those items covered under centralized procurement procedures, along with waivers as necessary. Manage and facilitate bi-weekly Construction Integration coordination meetings Participation in bi-weekly Design Update coordination meetings with USACE Ft. Riley Ensure that all work is done within Fort Riley and USACE standards Review daily reports from internal QAR staff and vendor supervisors Coordinate COE, DPW, COE and DOL to ensure smooth transition of the construction integrated facilities in a timely manner in conjunction with turnover procedures. Advising support functions on specific Construction Integration Services dates (vending, phones, etc).
