  2. PEMDAS • P-Please • E-Excuse • M-My • D-Dear • A-Aunt • S-Sally • When evaluating expressions, you use PEMDAS. • P=Parenthesis • E=Exponents • M=Multiplication • D=Division • A=Addition • S=Subtraction

  3. PEMDAS continued • When using PEMDAS, you work from left to right. • You do PEMDAS in order until you get to multiplication or division and addition or subtraction together. • But multiplication and division goes before addition and subtraction.

  4. Examples: 6 x 4 + 7 x 2 ÷ 1 24 + 7 x 2 ÷ 1 24 + 14 ÷ 1 24 + 14= 38 b. 583 c. 1,000,000 d. 5 Answer is………..
