La Trobe University • Peer mentoring programs - focus on student learning support • Collaboration between ALLU, library staff & academic staff the key to success • Nicholas Szorenyi-Reischl from the Academic Language and Learning (ALLU) Unit & Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Centre (CTLC). • Kerryn Amery, Associate University Librarian, Information Services. • Service point at La Trobe University was deemed to be in the library

La Trobe University • October 2011 • Ran for six weeks on all campuses • Structure: • As per original proposal, one coordinator (postgrad) • and general SLAs on each shift • Limitations: No statistics-keeping method No feedback from student/clients No feedback from SLAs, except for questionnaire to Bundoora SLAs afterwards, main points which were • Need for some kind of identifying uniform (i.e. t-shirt) • Need for better location
