Unit Summary On learning the second language it acquires effort to gain a fluency of using the English language, this unit planner made for the students to create a creative input by using the L2 of their project. And this module caters the fundamental skills of the students to learn and have a wonderful experience on learning the universal language.

  3. Unit Foundation Targeted Content Standards and Benchmarks

P.S.L.C Learning Competencies: • LISTENING Listen to simple narratives to develop appreciation Listening skills. • SPEAKING Observe Social and Linguistic conventions in oral transaction discourse (e.g, interview, asking, giving directions.) The communication strategies (e.g., paraphrase, and translation) to make up for inadequacies in the language.

  5. READING Show improvement of one’s command of the language as a result of reader. • WRITING Write well-constructed paragraphs utilize the macro-discourse pattern (PSn) Problem-Solution or (TRI) Topic- Restrictions Illustrative suited to the discourse type.

Student Objectives/Learning Outcomes At the end of the First Year, the student is expected to have a faster pace of making thoughts , concepts, and ideas about which is the most cohesive of their inputs; be able to make interesting theme, stories, and memorable happenings in life that somehow want to preserve using the crucial medium instruction and be well -versed when it comes on using the Second Language.

  8. Assessments Plan Before Project work begins • Know what scrap book is • Gather information on contents of scrap book. • Students decide on their scrap book theme. • Narrow down categories to even further. • Sort categories on page theme that will basis for page layout.

Students work on projects and complete tasks • Brainstorming and journaling. • They will find album and paper. • find embellishments • Organize work space. • Students Create background borders and/or titles. • Crap and map pictures • Start sticking • Add on journal, stories that want to preserve. • Add embellishment to the page layout to make it more beautiful

  10. After project work is completed • Make Insights about their experience of making scrap book. • Peer Feedback • Notes • Make self evaluation on how they will rate their work. • Make a remarkable and memorable learning experience

  11. Assessment Summary The Assessment planner perceive a good outlook for their scrap book on which they caters the 21st century skills in learning the English Language, this evaluation somehow measures their capacity of using vocabularies and making journal to their individual inputs.

  12. Unit Details Prerequisite Skills For this unit, it is expected that the 1st year student has: • Art Education • Ms Word, Surfing and Internet • knowledge about content of scrap book

Instructional Procedures Week 1 The students will be oriented about what scrap book is and what are the pace that they will going to consider to make a scrap book and students must have a group discussion of what are their knowledge about scrapbook when they are still a novice. The students will be exposed to the different types of layout and embellishments. They will individually plan about what would be the theme of their scrap book so that they will have an organize thoughts of making it.

  14. Week 2  Students will be exposed on the computer by digging wonderful pace of making scrap book. Students will have to make already their journal regarding about their memorable event and happenings in their life and be able to add embellishments to make it more interested to read. Week 3 The students will able to finish their project already. The students will have to bring their scrap book to the class to show their individual works to their classmates.
