  2. Job Interview • A personal meeting with a prospective employer to assess the qualifications of an applicant for employment for a job. • There are a variety of types of job interviews that employers may conduct, including: • Behavioral interviews • Exit interviews • Lunch or dinner interviews • Group interviews

  3. Behavioral Interview • Interviewing based on discovering how the interviewee acted in specific employment related situations. • The logic is that how you behaved in the past will predict how you will behave in the future i.e. past performance predicts future performance.

  4. Exit Interview • A meeting between an employee who has resigned or been terminated and the company’s human resources department. • The reason companies conduct exit interviews is to get feedback about the job the employee held, the work environment, and the organization.

  5. Lunch and Dinner Interviews • Employers take job candidates out to lunch or dinner to evaluate their social skills and to see if they can handle themselves gracefully under pressure. • If you were at a dinner interview and you ordered a steak well-done and it was brought out to you rare, what would you do?
