The Nice Grid project aims to enhance medium and low voltage (MV/LV) photovoltaic (PV) integration using a "Network Energy Manager". Key objectives include studying customer response behaviors, operating an LV network in islanding mode, and exploring innovative business models. Located in Southern France's Carros, the initiative includes 1.8 MWp of existing solar PV capacity and tests various use cases for load management and prosumer behavior. The project integrates ERDF Linky smart meter architecture to optimize PV generation and consumption, ultimately supporting a sustainable energy future.
