Eco-Improvement Project at I.S.I.S. "Il Pontormo" School in Empoli, Italy

On April 13, 2013, students from I.S.I.S. "Il Pontormo" in Empoli participated in an eco-improvement initiative. The project focused on revitalizing the school's entrance and the water booth, supervised by the headmaster. Students removed unauthorized posters, painted the water booth door, and beautified the surroundings by cutting hedges and cleaning up litter. The resulting transformation showcased the REACT logo on the booth wall, reflecting their commitment to sustainability and teamwork. We are proud of our efforts to enhance our school's environment!

  1. REACT meeting I.S.I.S. “Il Pontormo”, Empoli (Italy) Kraców, 13th april 2013

  2. In this picture you can see the school entrance, you can notice the plants and their bad aspect and the water booth before our eco-improving repainting

  3. “Men at work” with the headmaster’s supervision!

  4. At first we removed from the door of the water booth some not authorized posters. Then we painted the door

  5. Another student is painting one side of the booth covering some graffiti. At the end this is the result. We are very proud of it!

  6. We have asked the students to clean the school

  7. Other students are cleaning the school entrance collecting the garbage. The school entrance, after being cleaned and the hedge was cut

  8. Some students are painting the booth and the tallest one is painting the door again

  10. We have drawn the letters of REACT logo with their measurements, reproduced on some sheets of drawing and painted them on the wall of the water booth
