Blue Grass Chemical-Agent Destruction Pilot Plant • Mission: To safely destroy the chemical weapons stored at the Blue Grass Army Depot • The U.S. Army Element, Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is responsible for destruction of chemical weapons stockpiles in Kentucky and Colorado. • Bechtel Parsons Blue Grass is the prime contractor in Kentucky; and Bechtel National, Inc. is the prime contractor in Colorado. 6
