Juan Gris. חואן גריס,היה צייר ספרדי שפעל בעיקר בפריז, נחשב לאביו של הקוביזם. שמו האמיתי היה Jos é Victoriano Gonz á lez P é rez . נולד במדריד ב1887, ובה למד בבית הספר לאמנויות ואומנויות. עבד עבור כתבי עת שונים עד שעבר לפריז בשנת 1906, שם הכיר את פיקסו ואת ג ' ורג ' בראקה.

  2. חואן גריס,היה צייר ספרדי שפעל בעיקר בפריז, נחשב לאביו של הקוביזם. שמו האמיתי היה José Victoriano González Pérez. נולד במדריד ב1887, ובה למד בבית הספר לאמנויות ואומנויות. עבד עבור כתבי עת שונים עד שעבר לפריז בשנת 1906, שם הכיר את פיקסו ואת ג'ורג' בראקה.   5. בתחילת שהותו בפריז התפרנס כצייר לכתבי עת ושבועונים. בשנת 1912 יצר את עבודותיו הקוביסטיות הראשונות. בשנה זו הציג בברצלונה את יצירתו "הוקרה לפיקסו", וחתם על חוזה עם הסוחר דניאל קאהנווילר. שנה לאחר מכן עבר את הקיץעם פיקסו בעיירה הצרפתית סרת, תקופה בה החל לפתח את טכניקת הקולג‘גזירת צורות בנייר והדבקתם על בד.   35. במהלך מלחמת עולם הראשונה יצר בפריס, והציג את תערוכת היחיד הראשונה שלו ב 1919 .בשנים 1922 ו 1924יצר תפאורות לבלט. בו בזמן המשיך לצייר. אחרי שנת 1925 צייר בגואש ובצבעי מים . אייר מספר ספרים. הושפע מסזאן ומפיקסו והצטרף לתנועת הקוביסם.
