Figuras Literarias Cuando se habla de figuras literarias, se está haciendo referencia principalmente a aquellas formas del lenguaje y de la comunicación que han sido diseñadas para enfatizar, alivianar, decorar o dibujar expresiones normales. En este sentido, las figuras literarias recurren a palabras con su significado apropiado y común pero transformándolo de modo que gana una nueva expresividad y que sirve entonces para situaciones específicas en las cuales esas formas del lenguaje son útiles e interesantes. Aunque las figuras literarias también pueden ser usadas en la comunicación de todos los días, reciben ese nombre al ser especialmente eficaces en la producción literaria.
