  5. Think and Discuss • What is energy? • Where is energy found? How can you tell there is energy somewhere? • How is energy being used in the classroom right now? Where did this energy come from? • What does energy do? • Why is energy important?

In Your Group… • Fold the poster board in half hamburger style. • Label one side – “Energy in Action – Making Things Happen” • Label the other side – “Stored Energy – Energy Waiting To Make Things Happen” • Cut out pictures that depict the two types of energy and glue them onto the proper side.
