  3. Success in school • IEP – Individual education Plan – education plan • IDEA – Individuals with Disabilities education act – schools offer special education to those in need • FAPE – Free Appropriate Public education –

  4. ADA • Equals the playing field • Provides accommodations from employer+ government • companies are not allowed to discriminate against those who have disabilities mindset

  5. Rehabilitation Act • 1973 • Prohibits discrimination in programs and services • States no person who is handicapped should be excluded

  6. Dan Liest • Research department for Met Life • Process insurance claims+ bills • Has muscular dystrophy • Can feed but cant shower • At met life he has equipped phone + comp
