MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Molly and her husband fought on june25,1778 in the battle of Monmouth. • On June25,1778 one of the hottest days of the summer, Molly’s husband passed out and Molly took over the cannon. • Molly carried a pitcher of water to her husband and other soldiers during the war.   5. INTERESTING FACTS • One of the very few women who fought in the Revolutionary War. • In 1822, Molly was awarded a pension of $40.00 a year for helping in the war. MAIN MENU
