The NTCET (Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training) requires students to accumulate 200 credits for certification. Essential criteria include achieving a ‘C’ grade or better in 140 credits across Stage 1 and 2, with specific compulsory subjects to meet. Recognition of prior learning, including VET qualifications in 'Free Choice,' is permissible. An Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) is achievable through the completion of 90 credits at Stage 2, primarily from Tertiary Admission Subjects (TAS). This guide outlines the requirements and pathways for successful certification.
