  2. Catapults • What is a catapult? A catapult is a device used to throw or hurl a projectile a great distance without the aid of explosive devices-particularly various types of ancient and medieval siege engines.

  3. Round Robin • Discuss the assigned topic with your team. • Number 1s will start and continuing clockwise each students will discuss the questions assigned by the teacher.

  4. CATAPULTS Discuss the following questions using Round Robin. • Did you notice any differences in the distances the marshmallows were thrown by the catapults? • Did you find that some of the designs of the catapults worked better than others? • What are some ways we could compare the different launch data?

  5. Comparing Launch Data Take the launch data that your teacher has provided and order it from least to greatest using a number line.

  6. Comparing Launch Data With your team compare and order all of the launch data placing it in order on a number line.

  7. Comparing Launch Data Using multiplication and division compare your data with your teammates data.
