  4. Objectives In this session, you will: Discover what resources are available for IL State Reporting. Discuss the setup within PowerSchool. Learn how to enter student reporting data. Run and save reports and extracts successfully.

  14. District Setup Format data according to IL state requirements: District Info Districts of Residence Entry Codes Exit Codes Federal Ethnicity and Race Settings Log Entry Fields Log Types Schools/School Info

  15. Information must match state requirements, such as District Number District Information District > District Info

  16. Districts of Residence Other districts that have students attending your district District > Districts of Residence

  17. Entry Codes Defined by ISBE District > Entry Codes

  18. Exit Codes District > Exit Codes

  19. Federal Ethnicity and Race Settings District > Schools/School Info > Select School

  20. Log Entry Fields/Log Types Set up log entries for IL Discipline reporting

  21. Schools/School Info Should this school be included in state reporting? District > Schools/School Info > Select School

  22. State Information For Each School Enter at the District level District > Schools/School Info > Select School

  24. School Set-up The following areas must be populated for IL State Reporting: Attendance Conversions (refer to IL State Reporting User Guide) Full-Time Equivalencies (FTE) Sections (IL state info at bottom of section setup School > School Info

  27. Sections Add state-required information to each section School > Sections > Select a Course

  31. Student Pages Demographics Parent Access/Misc (Modify Info) State/Province – IL Log Entries Transfer Info

  32. Demographics The following fields need to be populated: DOB IL_FER Gender Student > Demographics

  33. Parent Access/Misc (Modify Info) • District Entry Date and District Entry Grade Level • School Entry Date and School Entry Grade Level Student > Parent Access/Misc

  34. Log Entries Create log entries for discipline incidents Complete IL State Reporting fields if required Student > Log Entries

  35. Transfer Info Click on current enrollment Student > Transfer Info

  36. State/Province – IL Divided into several tabs that contain information for specific IL State Reports Student> State/Province - IL

  37. General Tab Graduate, Drop-out, LEP, NELB, IEP, LII, Migrant, Truancy

  38. Demo Tab This screen populates the IL Student Demographics/Enrollment report

  39. Exiting Tab This screen populates the IL Exiting Students report These fields can also be populated using the Transfer Out of School screen (Functions>Transfer Out of School

  40. Pre-ID and Correct Tabs This screen populates the IL Assessment Pre-ID report and the IL Assessment Corrections report

  41. Access Tab This screen populates the IL Access for ELL report Tab name and screen will be updated to include ELL Screening

  42. Early Child, EC Outcome, and FollowUp Tabs These screens populate the IL Early Childhood report

  43. Multiple SID and Homeless Tabs These screens populate the Multiple SID and Homeless reports.

  45. All Reports Access all reports from the same page From the Start Page, click Reports
