See the Zoo Through the Eyes of a Cheetah Don’t miss this opportunity for you and a guest to join the beautiful and graceful Houston Zoo cheetahs and their keepers for an early morning walk around Zoo grounds.   5. One-of-a Kind Painting by Our Sea Lion Artist, Cali Cali is one of our amazing California sea lions, and the only sea lion at the Houston Zoo that currently paints. Painting serves as a great form of enrichment for Cali!

  6. Unique Painting by Houston Zoo Elephant, Shanti Shanti is serious about her artwork – she can use a brush or just her trunk! One of our seven Asian elephants at the Zoo, Shanti prefers to hold her brush by curling her trunk around it rather than grasping it with the “finger” at the tip of her trunk like the other elephants.

  7. Be a Houston Zoo Vet for a Morning Shadow one of Houston’s busiest veterinarians as they make their rounds of the Zoo.
