Your Student Bill online
Charges Tuition Fees Board of Regents Approve Fees (usually in July) Vary according to your status Segregated Fees-Mandatory Seven Segregated Fees: the University Center fee, the Student Activity Fee, the Text Rental fee, The Student Health fee, the Municipal Services fee, the Health Enhancement Center fee, and the United Council fee Online: Search under the Division of Student Affairs for the Segregated fee link MatriculationFee: One-time $175 fee will be applied to all new freshmen and new transfer students during their first term of enrollment. Room and Board Costs Other - Parking, dorm damages, late textbook charges, tuition adjustments, etc.
Types of Deposits Registration/Enrollment deposit $100 deposit MUST be paid before registration is allowed This deposit is applied when charges for the term are assessed Housing deposit $125 deposit housing contract for the academic year $125 deposit is credited to the second semester
Payments Financial Aid First begins applying a few days before school starts Check on myPoint to see if financial aid funds have been received Refunds - Direct deposit will go directly to your checking/savings account Refunds - Paper checks – sent to your local address on file with the Registration office Personal Payments Online E-check, Credit Card, Personal check, Cash or Money Order Returned checks – subject to a $20 service fee
Paying Your Student Bill On-Line Go to: www.uwsp.edu/billpay Option A: Pay by e-check Only available online Electronic check payment is the same as a paper check payment Subject to a $20 service fee for nonsufficient funds, account closed or invalid account number Option B: pay by credit card Only available online American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa accepted A 2.5% convenience fee will be charged to your card
Finance Charges Assessed at the following rates: 1.25% per month or 15% annually on the first $500 1% per month or 12% annually on the balance over $500 Assessed on the unpaid balance each month Credit Agreement card Pay in installments Other charges are assessed on your student account
