The Project • Goal: Design and Build a highly fuel-efficient, internal combustion engine prototype vehicle • Vehicle: • Carbon fiber core monocoque • 3.5 hp Briggs & Stratton Engine • Annual Competitions: • Shell Eco-Marathon Americas (Houston, TX) • SAE Supermileage (Marshall, MI) • 2013 Results: 407 MPG & 2nd Place Design Report

Team Organization Alumni Advisor:Chris Underhill (ME ‘13) Stephen Chow (ME ‘13) Faculty Advisor:Dr. Chris Lynch (MAE) • 7 officers and system leads • 30 total team members (mechanical, materials, electrical) • One-on-one new member mentorship • Members given independent projects • Design reviews, interdisciplinary collaboration, project management skills
