  3. Problem Molly goes missing while on a family vacation at the beach in Greenwater.

  4. Type of Novel • It is detective fiction because Chris is following a group of clues to see what happened to Molly, he thinks that she’s not dead. • There is a small amount of criminal fiction because the crime causes chaos in the family because they don’t know what to make of the situation.

  5. Uncertainty/Suspense • Uncertainty and suspense is caused because Chris doesn’t know if Molly is kidnapped or killed. • An example is in the end of Chapter 5 when Chris wasn’t sure if he was dreaming or not when he found the clues when he watched the movie and saw the Cloverbud ice cream truck in the background.

  6. Suspects • Clover  • Bud They are suspects because it was their ice cream truck that was seen in the video 

  7. Clues The white Cloverbud ice cream truck in the video that didn’t play any music. The mail proved that Clover and Bud were doing something in Florida. The mail proved that Clover and Bud left in a hurry. There were little girl clothes on the line when Pat and Chris saw Clover hang the laundry.

  8. Conclusion • Chris and Pat go to Clover and Bud’s new house in Florida. They see a little girl, but with dark hair (Molly had blond hair). Then, Chris hears the little girl recite a poem to her doll, the same one Chris’s dad said to her every night. The boys jumped over the wooden fence, Pat tackled Clover while Chris took Molly and ran away with Bud close to their heels. They sprint to the police station and tell the officer about the situation. Chris calls his parents to tell them and they go back home on a plane and become a real family again.
