  1. Beautiful Attitudes Meekness Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5 Wonderful news, beautiful news for the meek~ You’re going to have all that matters most.

  2. Poor in Spirit 3 “You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule. Those who Mourn 4 “You’re blessed when you feel you’ve lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you.

  3. Meek 5 “You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought.

Although weakness and meekness may look similar, they are not the same. Weakness is a poor response to negative circumstances, such as paralyzing fear or lack of courage. Meekness is due to a person’s choice. It is strength and courage under control coupled with kindness.”Nelson’s Bible Dictionary

  6. 2. Meekness Learned-received 28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Ephesians 4:1-2

Meekness Lived – Forgiveness applied Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Colossians 3:12-13

  10. 2. Meekness Lived - Pursued  11 But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. 1 Timothy 6:11

  11. 2. Meekness Lived – Do right Remind the believers to submit to the government and its officers. They should be obedient, always ready to do what is good. 2 They must not slander anyone and must avoid quarreling. Instead, they should be gentle and show true humility to everyone. Titus 3:1-2
