Wikipedia can serve as an invaluable teaching tool, fostering skills in writing, media literacy, and scholarly research. It promotes collaboration and consensus-building among students, cultivating a community of practice. In the Fall 2010 Public Policy Initiative, 14 classes across 10 universities employed Wikipedia in their curricula, showcasing its potential in higher education. Comprehensive support infrastructure, including brochures, lesson plans, and instructional videos, assists educators in implementing this innovative approach for global audiences.
