  1. UA and OA accounts How UPA affects the creation of these accounts. This demonstrates how the system creates accounts and moves balances when the user only changes the case type and subtype. UA_and_OA_Accounts

  2. Account Definition • UA account is arrears un-assigned during assistance. This account will contain the balance from the PA balance that is greater than the UPA balance. All collections on a UA account will disburse to the family. • OA account will contain arrears previously classified as CA arrears when the case was Non-tanf.

  3. UPA= $0.00 • Case Type/Subtype NA/FR Current SOA- $50/M • PA Balance = $1168.48 • CA Balance = $8745.00 • CC Balance = $50.00

  4. UPA = $0.00 • Case Type/Subtype changed to AF/AR Current SOA- $50/M • PA Balance stays at $1168.48 • CA Balance moves to the OA account • OA Balance = $8745.00 • PC Balance = $50.00

  5. UPA = $0.00 • Case Type/Subtype changes back to NA/FR Current SOA- $50/M • PA balance now moves to the UA account • UA Balance = $1168.48 • OA balance now moves back to the CA account • CA Balance = $8745.00 • CC Balance = $50.00

  6. UPA = $0.00 • NA/FR CC=$50/m CA=$8745.00 PA=$1168.48 • AF/AR PC= $50/m OA=$8745.00 PA=$1168.48 • NA/FR CC=$50/m CA=$8745.00 UA=$1168.48
