  8. Spinal Cord Injuries • Paraplegia – the legs are affected • Quadriplegia – when all the limbs are affected • Causes: • Car accidents • Falls • Sports • Diving

  9. Concussions • Common head injury resulting from a blow to the head • Can be mild, moderate or severe • Brain cells become abnormal and do not function properly • Symptoms include: • Headaches, dizziness, fatigue and memory problems
