For the first time, recyclers and OEMs have collaborated under the leadership of CEN to establish standards for toner and inkjet products. Six intense meetings led to a compromise on a standard aimed at enhancing performance comparisons across monochrome and color applications. All national CEN members, including key authorities like DIN, BSI, and AENOR, participated in this process. The outcome promises an international standard and CE approval for products, marking a significant milestone for the recycling industry.
