Maths Curriculum 2014 • Aims to ensure children are ‘Secondary Ready.’ • NUMBER (place value, 4 operations) FDP, MEASURE, GEOMETRY (properties of shape, direction and position) and STATISTICS. • MAIN CHANGES – progression by year group, new language and raised expectations inevery year group. • Planning - problem solving and sideways stretches. • Making Maths meaningful and relevant by making links. • Parent involvement.
