  2. Wednesday…bellringer! Write the equation of the line perpendicular to 3x – 3y = 6 and through A(2, -1).

  3. Interactmath.com • Prentice Hall Geometry 2011 • Please complete: 3-8 #1-6 • Fn and F11 to print screen. Paste into Word and SAVE. • Email to ashley.corbin@taylor.kyschools.us • Finished? Open the program “GSP5” on your COW. (Search for it & pin it to your taskbar.) Play around!

  4. Thursday…bellringer PLAN Review: How many feet long is the radius of a circle whose circumference is 16π feet? • 2 • 2 • 4 • 8 • 16

  5. Transversal Line: a line intersecting two parallel lines.

  6. Let’s number these angles. Which angles are congruent?

  7. Things to know and add to notes (or foldable—is it full yet??? ) • Vertical Angles Theorem: vertical angles are congruent. • Corresponding Angles: Lie on the same side of the transversal and in corresponding positions • Corresponding Angles Postulate: corresponding angles are congruent.

  8. The following deal with parallel lines intersected by a transversal: • Same-Side Interior Angles Postulate: same-side interior angles are supplementary. • Alternate Interior Angle Theorem: alternate interior angles are congruent. • Alternate Exterior Angles Theorem: alternate exterior angles are congruent.

  9. Friday… • Bellringers get turned in today. • Login to your COW • Bellringer: If the probability an even will happen is , what is the probability that the event will NOT happen?

  10. Solve for x and find the measure of each angle in the ____________.
