(Our biological time clock) • Controlled by the Hypothalamus, specifically theSuprachiasmaticnucleus (SCN) • Receives input from the eyes & is especially sensitive to the light and dark cycles of day and night *Responsible for our varying levels of arousal throughout the course of the day.
