Promised / Original plan Applied use cases of environmental information facilities • functional solutions to facilitate the performance of supporting environmental monitoring and species/habitat protection •  functional solutions to support the Integrated Coastal Zone Management and execution of EU’s water directive • internet map services with abundant information and tools relevant to ICZM, with reference to coastal areas in Finland, Estonia and Latvia SYKE / TK / GEO / Minna Kallio

Progress report I /change • Jan-Sept 2004 A specific work plan with goals has been made for producing major land cover/ land use changes of the coastal zone of South-West Finland from the years 1990-2000. • Also image mosaic from the year 1990 will be produced. • Acquisition of the Landsat TM images has been started. SYKE / TK / GEO / Minna Kallio

  4. Progress report II /change • Oct-March 2004-05 Some specifications were suggested to the plan of production and delivery of the land cover / land use change 1990 – 2000 data. Potential user groups have been considered and preliminary contacts established to map the user needs. Image acquisition to produce the Image 1990-mosaic has been continued.
