  17. Author Profiles Authors want to be able to find all of their articles within a database. In most cases, SciVerse Scopus is able to capture all articles belonging to a particular author within one author profile. SciVerse Scopus is able to offer the articles likely written by the author within one most relevant profile.

  21. Certificate of publication Article offprint Journal issue

  22. Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) It was founded by Eugene Garfield in 1960. Currently known as Thomson Reuters. # Its speciality: citation, indexing and analysis. # publishes annual list of impact factor of the journals. *Journal impact factor is an important indicator of journal quality. # It also publishes a list of highly cited researchers, one of the factors included in the Academic Ranking of World Universities published by Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

  23. The impact factor, IF IF, is a measure reflecting the average number of citations topublished articles. Calculation For example, if a journal has an impact factor of 3 in 2010, then its papers published in 2008 and 2009 received 3 citations each on average. The 2010 impact factor of a journal would be calculated as follows: A = the number of times published articles in 2008 and 2009 were cited by indexed journals during 2010 B = the total number of published articles by that journal in 2008 and 2009. 2010 impact factor = A/B

  24. H-index Theh-index is an index that attempts to measure both the productivity and impact of the published work of a scholar. The index was suggested by Jorge E. Hirsch, a physicist at UCSD, as a tool for determining relative quality and is sometimes called the Hirsch index. Hirsch writes:A scientist has index h if h of [his/her] papers have at least h citations each. Them-index is defined as h/n, where n is the number of years since the first published paper of the scientist .

  25. Calculating h H-index from a plot of decreasing citations for numbered papers

  26. The h-b-index is defined in the same manner as the h-index, but is based on a topic search instead of a scientists name. A topic with a large h-b index is defined as a hot topic. h-b indices of some topics carbon nanotubes: h-b = 167 fullerenes: h-b = 140 quantum computation: h-b = 73 ferroelectricity: h-b = 78

  30. ثانيا : تصنيف QS للجامعات العالمية الخاصة بالتخصصات TheQS World University Rankings http://www.topuniversities.com *QS Asian University Rankings for the top 200 universities since 2009.
