Lunch Procedures • Lunch $2.00 • Breakfast $1.00 • Milk $0.50 Send money by check or cash to the cafeteria when buying a ticket or with a child when sending only one day at a time.
All medicines must go to the clinic with a note and the time to dispense.
FMNV Rules • We can no longer give out any kind of food at school. • Cupcakes etc. for birthdays may be given, but only at the end of the day. • 3 days during year that are designated.
Uniforms • Khaki or Navy Pants/Shorts/Skirts • Red, Green, Navy or White Tops • Friday is Spirit Day • Jeans and a Spirit Shirt

What do you do if you’re stuck on a word? • You look at the pictures. • Get your mouth ready. • You think what makes sense. • You go back and read the sentence again. • Look for chunks you know. • Skip the word; think; then go back and read the sentence again. Can, sat, get
Reading Program Goal: To become an independent reader. • Books are leveled (Dots) • Reading Strategies • Homework (Child’s and Parents)
Homework • Read every night • Book Bags • Sign Paper • Unfinished Work or late work • 10% each day late • Please sign paper • Have a quiet place for them to work.

Grading • We will have percentage grades this year. • Hands on Activities • Grades will be on the computer.
How can I help? • Assemble books/projects at school or home • Type student stories • Be a guest speaker • Eat dinner with your child • Do your “paperwork” as they do their homework. • Attend field trips • Join PTA • We really need volunteers this year. • Send Materials for special projects
Library Checkout Library Checkout will be once a week. Please take care of books. Read to child.
