  1. 1° REPORTING PERIOD July 1st 2005 – June 30th 2006 GENERAL PROBLEMS Prof. Anna Soci, Dr. Beatrice Capacci Archanes, October 13th - 14th 2006

  2. This is a short list of the most important problems from a general point of view: SUBCONTRACTING COSTS TO BE CHARGED TO THE PROJECT PERSON-MONTHS TO BE DEFINED CORRESPONDENCE BETWEEN TOTALS IN THE PMR AND FORM C CATEGORY OF COSTS 1° REPORTING PERIODJuly 1st 2005 – June 30th 2006GENERAL PROBLEMS

  3. SUBCONTRACTING We inquired our scientific officer Massimo Burioni and received an answer which will help us also in the future. 1° REPORTING PERIODJuly 1st 2005 – June 30th 2006GENERAL PROBLEMS

  4. COSTS TO BE CHARGED TO THE PROJECT When we have to decide whether a cost has to be included in a reporting period we have to CONSIDER THE DAY IN WHICH YOU USE THE SERVICE. Only if this day is included in the period we can include the cost, even if the service has been contracted and paid in a different period. 1° REPORTING PERIODJuly 1st 2005 – June 30th 2006GENERAL PROBLEMS

  5. PERSON MONTH TO BE DEFINED Please remember to have the same figures WITHIN YOUR PMR. Different figures are often written and the coordinator can’t decide for you. 1° REPORTING PERIODJuly 1st 2005 – June 30th 2006GENERAL PROBLEMS

  6. 1° REPORTING PERIODJuly 1st 2005 – June 30th 2006GENERAL PROBLEMS CORRESPONDENCE BETWEEN TOTALS IN THE PMR AND FORM C Please remember to have the same figures also in the Form C and in the PMR. The totals are often different. This causes delay and can be a source of mistakes.

  7. CATEGORY OF COSTS In writing your reports please consider that there are four main categories of costs PERSONNEL COSTS CONSUMABLES TRAVEL COSTS EQUIPMENT You should try to use these macro-categories when including your costs in the Table. Subsequently, you can specify the details in the section “justification of major costs” 1° REPORTING PERIODJuly 1st 2005 – June 30th 2006GENERAL PROBLEMS

  8. 1° - bis REPORTING PERIOD: July 1st 2006 - August 30th 2006 DETAILS Remember that the totals have to be written in euro both in the PMR and in the Form C. The totals in your form C should be the same as your PMR TRAVEL COSTS: they cannot be included in this report if they have been sustained later. PERSONNEL COSTS: if part of the work has been done out of the reporting period, it has to be divided and the cost for June included in a special cell in form C. The costs need to be specified only in the management report, in the section “justification of costs”. Further details provided by your administratrion on specific aspects cannot be accepted. 1° REPORTING PERIODJuly 1st 2005 – June 30th 2006GENERAL PROBLEMS
