This 2-credit full-year course immerses students in major artistic elements, mediums, and styles. It covers essential techniques including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and black-and-white photography. The course also consists of intensive studio-based experiences, allowing students to explore their chosen mediums, themes, and styles in depth. Divided into three main areas—Breath, Quality, and Concentration—students will create a diverse body of work, culminating in a comprehensive understanding of art practice.
