Alaska, known as the Last Frontier, is filled with unique attributes such as the forget-me-not flower and the majestic bowhead whale. It has a deep history, with the Tlingit, Haida, and Athabascans being the first people to inhabit the land. Rich in natural beauty, Alaska covers an area of 591,004 sq. mi, offering diverse wildlife and stunning forests. As the 49th state, its expansive territory is comparable to countries like England and France. Famous figures, including Benny Benson, who designed the state flag at 13, have shaped its identity. This report reflects my passion for writing and sharing Alaska's wonders.

  2. CELEBRATE MY STATE • The nickname for Alaska is the last frontier or the land of midnight. • The flower for Alaska is forget-me-not. • Alaska's animal is the bowhead whale. • Alaska's bird is the willow ptarmigan.

  3. EARLY HISTORICAL FACTS • The first Alaskans that came to Alaska is Tlingit Haida, and Athab Asian Indians. • Vitus Bering exploring for Russia islands on kayak island. • Gregory Shelikhou builds Alaskas first Russian settlement onto kodiak island.the first people.

PHYSICAL FEATURES • My state is located in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. • My state has the area of 591,004 sq. mi.and is ranked the 40th in the size. • When people see my state I want them to see the animals and the state flag an important landmark is the forest because there are different animals in Alaska than the United States.

  5. STATEHOOD HISTORY • Alaska is the 49the state ins the United States.an interesting historical fact about Alaska is Alaska is a big as England,France,Italy,and Spain.

  6. FAMOUS PEOPLE • Aleck sander Baron is the trader, public,official. • Benny benson desighned the state flag at age 13. • Carl Ben Ellison was a pioneer pilot. • Walter j hickel former governor. • Sydney Lawrence was a painter in Alaska.
