This study focuses on the verification of specificities for polyclonal antibodies targeting OsAPX1 and OsAPX2 in the IR-29 rice cultivar. Using Coomassie staining and anti-APX1 and anti-APX2 antibodies, we identified the distinct bands corresponding to the OsAPX1 (3,015 bp) and OsAPX2 (1,917 bp) genes. Additionally, we compared the genomic structures of these genes, utilizing reference sequences from GenBank. The analysis highlights nucleotide mismatches and deletions in the IR-29 cultivar, providing insights into the genetic variations specific to this strain.
