When did we change from one to the other and why? • Multiculturalism accepts all cultures and values them equally. • Ethnocentricity focuses on one culture and believes it is superior to others. • We are now known for multiculturalism. • We changed AFTER 1945, when WW2 ended and we realized we had been racist and contributed to the atrocities of the Holocaust in our own way.
