Nature of occupation • Correct identification of children with special needs. • Helps children academically • Helps children with behavior and social problems • Teaching methods individualized or group instruction and problem-solving assignments to help students develop skills • Helps children of all age levels learn the basic skills in life that are needed to live a normal life.

Education and Training • Must have a bachelors degree in special education • a bachelor's degree with certification in special education • bachelor's degree in education with one year full-time experience working with populations • a bachelor's degree in any discipline with one year of experience • Student teaching experience.
