For example, patio and rodeo are Spanish words that have found their way into English. There are also many examples of English words that have entered Spanish. By recognizing these familiar words, you can increase your vocabulary in Spanish. Try it out! Since many of the patients come from Spanish-speaking homes, she is able to speak with them and their families in Spanish. “Para mí, trabajar como voluntaria es una de mis actividades favoritas.
