Rain Catcher By Emily O
What You Need 1 empty 2 litre milk bottle Responsible adult 1 pair of scissors
Procedure Step 1: Get the empty plastic milk bottle (Remove cap and make sure it’s empty) Step 2: Rinse out any left over milk Step 3: Get a responsible adult to cut off the bottom of the plastic milk bottle with scissors Step 4: Stick it in the ground near a plant And there you have it your own water saving device
Understanding After you finish making your device, stick it in the ground near a plant and it will collect the rain water so then you don’t need to use the main’s water. When it rains, the water washes through the bottle. It comes out the bottom and waters the plant. When the water saving device waters the plant, the plant gets a better drink because the water saving device is closer to the roots than the hose or watering can is to the roots.
