  1. Welcome to Computer Class!! 2007-08 It’s going to be a great year!!!

  2. Mrs. Klausmeyer • Husband: Steve • Children: William, Emma, Mary & Abigail • Hobbies: Reading, Surfing the Net, Scrapbooking, Cooking

  3. Computer Lab Rules • Respect teacher, classmates, and equipment. • Eyes on the teacher when teacher is talking. • Follow directions the first time they are given.

  4. Entering the Classroom • Stop and get hand sanitizer. • Stand by the appointed computer. • Group Number listed leads the prayer. • Sit down at your computer. • Wait for instructions.

  5. Using Computer • Use only program that the class is using. • Do not change icons, mouse, print options. • Listen and do what the teacher tells you to do. • Treat the keyboard gently. • If something inappropriate shows on your screen, shut monitor off and put up the red cup!

  6. Help!!! The computer is not working. I’m stuck! I have a problem, but I’ll keep working until you can help me. Everything is AWESOME!!! What do I do when I need help?

  7. Attention! • Lights blink. • Remove headphones. • Freeze. • Look at teacher. • Be quiet and listen.

  8. Printing • Name must be on page to print. • Raise hand for teacher to check. • After teacher OK’s, print once. • Teacher or assigned student will hand out papers.

  9. Leaving the Classroom • Return the computer to how it was: • Opening screen • Headphones • Mouse • Stand in line at the door. • Wait for dismissal from teacher.

  10. It’s going to be a great year!!
