  2. Barriers and Barricades • Barriers and barricades are signs that will make the road be blocked for a certain reason or something like that.

  3. Barricades • A barricade is any object or structure that creates a barrier or obstacle to control, block passage or force the flow of traffic in the desired direction.

  4. Different Barricades

  5. Did You Know • Hard hats used to be made of metal. However, metal conducts electricity, so most hard hats are now made of reinforced plastic or fiberglass.

  6. Hard Hats • A hard hat is a type of helmet predominantly used in workplace environments, such as construction sites, to protect the head from injury by falling objects, impact with other objects, debris, bad weather and electric shock.

  7. Safety Glasses • They protect your eyes from anything that might fly out of something and tries to hit you.

  8. Safety Harness • The uses: Near a large opening in the floor. • Near a deep hole • Near protruding rebar. • More than 70 percent of reported jobsite accidents are caused by improper use of the lanyard and harness.

  9. Work Gloves • Gloves prevent cuts and scrapes when you handle sharp or rough materials.
