  2. Animals • Alpaca. The alpaca’s scientific name is Lama Pacos. • Chinchilla. The chinchilla has the softest fur in the world. • Puma. The puma is about 160 pounds and is a natural predator.

  3. Pictures This is a picture of Chile’s flag. The red stripe represents the blood of the people who fought for Chile’s independence. The white represents the snow of the Andes Mountains. The blue stripe represents the sky. The star represents that Chile is Unitarian Republic. Chile has very many beautiful beaches tourists like to visit on vacations. These are the Andes Mountains. They are the main attraction of Chile.

  4. Government • Chile has a republic government. • This means that the country does not have any monarch. • A republic country like this one usually has a president.

  5. Cities • Three large cities in Chile are: • Santiago • Puente Alto • Concepcion

  6. Culture • The more popular sports of Chile are soccer, skiing, basketball, rodeo, and surfing. • A popular food is the Chilean Cuisine made from seaborne nature.
