The purpose of the Camdenton R-III Strategic Planning Committee is to enhance student performance through the following methods: • Advising the district on implementation of programs designed to increase student achievement and district success in the future. • Communicate with diverse community stakeholders to gain the insight of our community and share these insights with the planning committee. • Evaluate district programs to ascertain their effectiveness in meeting the needs of our students. • Contribute to the growth of our vision of “Everyone Learning Every Day” by sharing innovative ideas for future success.

Strengths and Areas for Improvement • Improvement: • K-3 communication arts • Closely analyze programing, instruction, and performance at the lower elementary level • Closely analyze performance data in outlying buildings • Strengths: • As a district, continued upward trend in both subject areas • Math improvement at Hawthorn, Oak Ridge, and Middle School • Free and reduced performance at middle school • Communication Arts performance at Hawthorn and High School
