The GO Annotation Camp held from June 1-4, 2005, at Stanford, CA, brought together leading experts to enhance the understanding of mouse genetics and its implications for human biology. Organized by Harold Drabkin, Ph.D., and others from The Jackson Laboratory, the objective was to facilitate research in the relationship between genotype and phenotype through comprehensive resources including the Mouse Genome Database (MGD), Gene Expression Database (GXD), and others. This gathering emphasized collaboration in annotating gene functions and supporting the Mouse Genome Sequencing Project.
