  2. Special cuts request • School must submit a work order on Maximo request for all special cuts at least 2 weeks in advance for events such as: football, baseball, softball, soccer. • If you don’t want your field cut during the regular scheduled cut you need to put in a work order on Maximo to have it done another day. • Remember when submitting a work order on Maximo for special cut that means that area must be clear, nobody on or using that area, and ready for the mowers to cut with no interruptions.

  3. Turf maintenance • School need to submit a Maximo work order. • When submitting a work order on Maximo identify sand is for aeration, with the date of aeration, and have sand drop off 2 to 3 day before aeration and coordinate with your respective mowing supervisor. • If problems arise with the mowing of your school or the quality of the work is not what you expect, please call the respective base yard Supervisor Directly or contact James Chinen office – 831-6722 or via lotus notes.

  4. Turf maintenance • Aerating for football, baseball, softball fields. • Top Dressing - Is the spreading of sand, the sand we use is Maui dunes sand. it takes 1 yard of sand per field (Order thru FMB Support Section Lemuel Keomaka)

  5. Turf maintenance • Fertilizing – School supplies their own, it takes about fourteen 50 lbs bags of fertilizer per football field. • When fertilizing nobody can go on the field to play for at least 2 to 3 days. Students can get burn or have an allergic reaction from the fertilizer. • You need to submit a work order on Maximo at least 1 month ahead of scheduled aeration and have the base yard supervisor come and check the grounds. • For information on turf maintenance call or lotus notes your respective base yard supervisor directly or contact James Chinen.
